How Make Chicken salad

 A simple and delicious chicken salad recipe:


### Ingredients:

- 2 cups cooked chicken, diced or shredded

- 1/2 cup mayonnaise

- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

- 1 celery stalk, finely chopped

- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

- 1/4 cup sliced almonds (optional)

- 1/4 cup dried cranberries or grapes, halved (optional)

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


### Instructions:


1. **Prepare the Chicken:**

   - If you don't have pre-cooked chicken, you can cook some boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs by boiling, grilling, or baking them until fully cooked. Let the chicken cool, then dice or shred it.


2. **Mix the Dressing:**

   - In a large mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth.


3. **Add the Vegetables and Mix-Ins:**

   - Add the diced chicken, chopped celery, and red onion to the bowl with the dressing. If you are using almonds and cranberries/grapes, add them as well. Mix until everything is evenly coated.


4. **Season:**

   - Season the salad with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.


5. **Chill:**

   - Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
